![]() In the year 2185, the matter of whether or not robots have souls is a complicated and thorny issue. So even though these titans did escape Genesis, and eventually got to live prosperous lives, calling their escape a rescue operation would be quite generous. So they razed Genesis, enslaving all suitable candidates, and experimented on and 'improved' the captive titans turning them into two new factions of pseudodeities, and slave-soldiers in the coming war against gods. It was before the Rebellion War, that the nepara needed themselves an army. ![]() The fae and gi are the most prominent examples of titans unjustly taken from Genesis. ![]() Luckily, they found a way out of the plane and entered the larger universe, which they eventually accidentally made into a multiverse. Titans themselves made it even worse though, as their dabbling with magic had widespread effects in their surroundings. Green Hell is a nickname the titans gave to the area of Genesis they came from. Everything adapting unnaturally fast to new threats has led in a merciless eat-or-be-eaten cycle where species' come and go, and sapient life usually just drowns in the chaos over a generation or two. It is a patchwork world where evolution has gone haywire, where every generation born is different from their parents. Especially since they've become significantly more varied over the years, as the original humanoid titans have rescued others from the merciless Genesis. In many ways, my pseudodeities are more important than actual deities. They are the beings that created the multiverse, the beings that have fought multiverse-wide wars, and who even modern days are the ones that shape the multiverse the most. So, to answer your question, pseudodeities are a varied group of beings that originate from Genesis. A group of humanoid titans was the first one to escape Genesis, and from this group (and their actions) eventually spun the six other factions too. Every lifeform born in Genesis is a titan, from adorable fieldmice to humans and from mighty oaktrees to five-dimensional beings. The first pseudodeities were born in the Green Hell of Genesis. These factions are not political or biological, but spiritoauratic. There are seven factions: daemons, demons, fae, gi, nepara, pallae, and titans. Pseudodeities are the various types of titanborn beings in my world. We also encourage users to register an account. (#worldbuilding on :6667, or 6697 for SSL) Looking for more active discussion?
